THE HISTORY OF KORPAN TRACTOR AND PARTS

Korpan Tractor & Parts is a heavy construction equipment dealership offering a full range of products and services.

We sell and rent quality equipment, including an extensive fleet of crawler tractors, loaders, articulated trucks and excavators. We also carry a large inventory of new, used, original, and aftermarket parts and maintain a state of the art service department.

The company was founded in 1965 by Nick H., Korpan, with 21 years experience as the Parts Manager for a Caterpillar dealership. We began by selling undercarriage for all makes of crawlers adding many non-undercarriage lines as the market demanded an economical source of supply. Acquiring used equipment for resale and dismantling moved us to double our building size as we moved to a 3-acre yard site.

In 1980, Nick sold the company to his sons, Ray and Bob. In 1985, the brothers moved the business into their own 12,000 square foot facility on five acres on the north side of Saskatoon along Highway #16. The increased space was needed to accommodate the growing equipment rental fleet and space for further expansion.

Having demonstrated a reputation for providing exemplary service at fair and competitive prices, we have been able to expand our market area to include the four western Canadian provinces. Today, parts are regularly shipped throughout Canada and the United States.

In 1998, we added 6,000 square feet to the operation. The added space houses 7 new service bays, new parts counter area, additional parts warehouse space, and renovated sales and administration offices to serve you.
